At Majenta, we are Certified by Nissan as a V3P Capable company & Nissan Supplier with a “Global Supplier Vendor Code”. This means that we are well placed to support you with sending and receiving NX data to/from Nissan. We offer By-Pass services for Suppliers as well as training and support for suppliers using NSTK (Nissan Supplier Tool Kit).

“By-Pass” is an approved Nissan method of transferring 3D CAD Data/DATA NOTE and Drawing information by a Certified Nissan Partner.

What is our Nissan TCP3 By-Pass Service?

As a Certified V3P Capable company & Certified Nissan Supplier with a “Global Supplier Vendor Code”, we are here to support suppliers without the NSTK installation/environment.

Our dedicated Team can support sending CAD Data to Nissan using the By-Pass Process for STUDY Proposal CAD Data, SHAPE Release against a Spec Tender, DATA NOTE Only Releases and DCR (Design Change Request) Releases. We can also receive STUDY Stage CAD Data from Nissan and forward to you in your native CAD format.

Our TCP3 By-Pass Service:

Translation

  • Translate your native CAD Data, for example Catia V5, into Nissan NX format
  • Translated to high standard adhering to Nissan stringent data integrity

STUDY Data to Nissan

  • Data imported into our Majenta Teamcenter environment
  • STUDY Data create according to STUDY guidelines
  • Create Baseline: Baseline is a snapshot of working data at a particular instance. In Teamcenter, a Baseline Revision is created for baselined data. Suppliers can ONLY exchange baselined data with Nissan. We will ensure your data is Baselined and prepared for a Briefcase submission to TCP3.
  • Briefcase Output: Export of NX data from Teamcenter via a Briefcase
  • Upload to Nissan via TCP3 as STUDY Proposal: Create a Study Proposal object in TCP3 in preparation for Study Proposal Briefcase upload. Add Data Classification, Family Code and Receiver information. Verify and Upload
  • Complete Workflow Process in TCP3 for Study Proposal Data

SHAPE Release CAD Data Preparation

  • Data imported into our Majenta Teamcenter environment
  • Part Numbering & Naming: We will make sure that your CAD Data is Part Numbered & Named according to the Nissan Guidelines and matches your Spec Tender SHAPE Releases
  • Weight & Material Attributes: Weight and Material Attributes will be assigned to all relating Nissan Release Parts/Assemblies
  • Annotation: Annotation will be added to the selected views within your CAD Models. CHANGE Views added after initial SHAPE Release has been submitted to show changes against DATA NOTE information
  • Data Integrity Checks: CADdoctor for NX data checking can be applied depending on the Nissan project
  • Create Baseline: Baseline is a snapshot of working data at a particular instance. In Teamcenter, a Baseline Revision is created for baselined data. Suppliers can ONLY exchange baselined data with Nissan. We will ensure your data is Baselined and prepared for a Briefcase submission to TCP3.

  • Upload to Nissan via TCP3 as PDS Release: Check Out and Edit details for PDS in TCP3. Add Data Classification, Family Code and Receiver information. Verify and Upload.
  • Complete Workflow Process in TCP3 for SHAPE Release data

As a Certified V3P Capable company & Certified Nissan Supplier with a “Global Supplier Vendor Code”. Part of the By-Pass process is to support suppliers without the NSTK installation/environment. We can be Referenced (REF) on any Spec Tender Release to support you as a supplier and create PDS’s on your behalf to support the Upload process to TCP3.

Receive STUDY data from TCP3 on behalf of Supplier

  • As a Certified V3P Capable company & Certified Nissan Supplier with a “Global Supplier Vendor Code”. Part of the By-Pass process is to support suppliers without the NSTK installation/environment. We can be sent any CAD Data Release, albeit Study or Release CAD data, to support the receipt of CAD data. In turn this can be translated to your Native CAD System and sent to you via our OEM Supplier Portal.
