Global Supplier Integration Team (GSI)
The JLR Global Supplier Integration Team (GSI) Team act as a single point of contact for Jaguar Land Rover business and its supplier community. They are dedicated to implementing consistent processes across JLR and its extended enterprise as well as providing C3P support including:
- Integration of new suppliers into the JLR environment including:
- the management of this process
- providing advise and recommendations
- Distribution of Supplier communications for:
- General Information affecting JLR’s extended enterprise
- Changes or deployment of working methods which affect suppliers
- Awareness Sessions relating to business working methods
- Announcing application upgrades which affect JLR
- System downtime
- Forthcoming supplier events and conferences
- Technical support including:
- Integration of suppliers into JLR applications & business
- Data exchange issues
- C3P working methods
- Ensuring new working methods are developed upon request by either JLR business or supplier community
- Testing and deploying system upgrades
- Management of issues between suppliers and JLR engineers
